Every Cape Cat is laid up by hand in carbon fiber and marine epoxy — a tender light enough to be confidently beached, stiff enough to be driven hard, and beautiful enough to earn a place on any yacht davit.
Most yacht tenders are an afterthought — heavy, plastic, anonymous, and disposable. The Cape Cat is the opposite: a catamaran hull form built from aerospace-grade composites. Offering a dry and comfortable ride in a sea state, a payload capacity for all the gear, and a displacement light enough to fit on any davit.
Cape Catamarans was established in 2019 as a boutique boat-building shop in South Florida, USA. Utilizing the highest quality materials - foam core, epoxy resin infusion, and full carbon fiber construction. We hand-build all our tenders to your specifications, offering numerous options to personalize your boat.
A carbon-epoxy hull weighs about half what a comparable tender weighs — easy to beach, easy to load on davits.
Double the usable deck and cockpit space compared to tenders of similar weight and length. Room for the gear, the crew, and the cooler.
